I'm honestly surprised, I just now found out it even released by browsing a random rabbit hole on gamefaqs. I have not looked it up, so I wanna keep this old school. What do you all think of it? I don't care about a metacritic score or "major sites" opinions since they aren't even gamers working there.

Just curious is all. (sorry, I've been playing tons of PSO2 on my PS4 and have lost contact with most of gaming news. Besides big news like Shenmue 3 and Last of Us.

EDIT: OH and Death Stranding! OMG Can't wait!

Great game. I mostly only play campaign mode on any Gears, though. Maybe a little horde mode. It's right up there with Gears 1-3 in terms of awesomeness. Lots of surprises and gameplay tweaks to keep things fresh, too.
