At this point I would settle for any Atlus-game. Really, Atlus support on Switch so far is crappy compared to 3DS. Tokyo Mirage Session port will be the first Atlus game on Switch, as far as I can see it. And probably it's sales will be used to judge for releasing more Atlus content.

But it would be so easy for Atlus to please me. I would take easily the Etrian Odyssey Untold games for instance.

So many great games on the Switch! "Link's Awakening" is now my favourite game. perhaps the most innovative and creative game of all time... :D

Played an E3 demo and the first couple hrs of the Switch demo. Definitely excited! But man I'm so behind on my RPGs that at this rate I don't think I'll be able to tackle this one until September of NEXT year.. Still playing Diablo 3, barely begun Legend of Mana in Mana Collection, replaying Tales of Vesperia for Switch edition, still need to play Borderlands 3 and finish Lilith DLC stuff, want to try FFX, YS VIII, still need to revisit Octopath.. etc etc.. But I definitely want to get into this at SOME point. First DQ game I'll be playing since DQ 3. I actually love that there's a 16 bit graphic option, and that the battle system, even though is still turn-based is configured to be a bit more fast paced and set up like a real time system. 

What I REALLY want to see is a return to Dragon Warrior Monsters. Me and a few buddies got super into those games on the GBC, very very underrated Pokemon knock off back in the early 2000s.

I'd much rather have had it release on Switch the same time as PS4. Will play it after Ni No Kuni which I just started. Speaking of which I assume that's what this post is referencing but it doesn't really work when the Switch had to wait over a year, while the Ni No Kuni situation is day and date.

The wait for DQ on Switch was bad, it's a good thing they've tried to make up for it.

I think the switch is also the only console who got the first three DQ games? Will they port all DQ games?

It seems in Japan 1-3 were released on 3DS/PS4 in 2017. But WW Switch is the only recent console to get them. It wouldn't surprise me if more of the Dragon Quest games are released on Switch, after the Final Fantasy splurge we just had.

I definitely would love that, as I love old-schoolturn-based RPGs.

Well, Switch still has not a single pre-7 Final Fantasy. A while back I fantazised about remaking the first six in the style of Octopath Traveler. That would be awesome. Please Square.
