I already have two Switches, can't see any reason to own a third.

No, I already have a Nintendo Switch so I have no need for a Nintendon't Switch.

Not for myself, that's for sure. But possibly for my little Nephew as a gift later down the road.

Switch has a larger display... So that automagically discounts the Lite for me.

Waiting on a Switch TV to be honest that rids the Switch of everything that makes it mobile, then I'll jump onto the platform.

Well, enjoy your time elsewhere cuz you won't see the light of the day where that's happening ...

Honest question, why do you have two? And, if the Lite was available when you bought the second, would you have saved the $100 and gotten the Lite instead?

I have a hacked one and an unhacked one :P I can't take the hack switch online because it will get banned. I actually didn't know it was hacked when i bought it 2nd hand but being able to pirate any switch game became so addictive that now i can't stop. I do still buy the odd switch game if i enjoyed it, like SSB and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

No. If anything, I would replace my old Switch with the newer model with more battery life. But the Lite is not for me. I mean... it is, but not enough.
I spend a lot of time on the train, so portable gaming is important to me. And a smaller Switch is something I would gladly have. However... is not good enough. It is still too big. I have to carry a bag for my Switch and would still have to carry one for the Lite. So... the situation would be the same. Also, while it has better battery life than the original, it's still behind the newer base model, which almost doubles the original. And... you lose the ability to play on the TV. Which, while is not my main gaming mode, is something I definetly like to use from time to time.

Yes, it's 100 dolar cheaper. But in the end, as an exclusively portable device, it doesn't offer enough improved portability features compared to the base Switch. And it has worse battery life, it loses docked mode and it loses the Joy-Con. So... unless you really want a D-Pad... or you have a child and you want something more durable... I would just buy a normal newer Switch.

Actually yes. I already own a switch but I did decide to get this one.
I don't trust to carry about my switch. One bad drop and the Joycons are going to get screwed.

The lite switch has no detachable joycons, an actual D-pad, and is a little smaller making for better handheld play. Plus it has a better battery life(I think) than the original.

Plus I feel like it "safeguards" my saves by segregating which games I play on which system. If I'm not going to move my original switch, there is a much better than of it breaking and no chance of losing it.

Plus it is easy to let people like my Mom borrow it. Including physical and digital games.
