Oh man the lite is going to explode everything... it's going to be insane for the holiday season.

I think that they would easily reach their forecast of 18M even without Lite.
Yeah something is weird with Switch's numbers, I don't see why the Mariko revision would give no boost in the West yet cause a 200% surge in Japan.

I don't know if this is true or not, but in my own experience it was kind of not available until very recent. At least for me. I got my Mariko Switch a few days ago. Before that the retailer I went to, was still selling away the old stock before restocking with the Marikos.
Switch is catching up to the Xbox One at a great pace, many individuals are pointing out that Switch might fall behind in support due to the new gen console coming out in 2020, but it's not guaranteed that the next Xbox will be able to outsell the Switch, at least while Switch remains the main platform supported by Nintendo, so its install base will be very appealing in the years to come

But most of it's grow is coming solely from Japan (this would leave a 25K growth in the west + rest of the world), I'm kinda septic to the idea that the sales of the new SKU had virtually almost no impact in the west when you look at what it did in Japan. |
I gave US monthly sales
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
The Switch-Xbone lifetime gap is now down to just 6 million.
Also, Switch well above every other platform combined for the week.
Great switch numbers. But I have to really question the other regions sales. Absolutely no change with the revision at all? Japan ate it up, but the rest were just business as usual? I'm not sure I buy that. But, great overall growth anyhow.
The ps4 doing well as usual, and had a good month. The xbox just riding off into the sunset until scarlett... kind of sad but, these things happen when a company gets cocky.
Cant wait to see what happens when the mini comes.... everywhere I look and go, the mini is sold out and has been since it went up for presale.
I wanted to get one for my daughter but, damn... I still cant and I probably wont be able to for atleast a few weeks. It's going to be a very healthy rest of the year for Nintendo.
Very good boost, considering it's still in August, for NS.
Nice performance of PS4, that despite beaten, resists around its average weekly sales for this period this year.
