Around the Network

I'm holding out hope that Kojima is just trolling everyone and that what's been shown is something fake or tiny pieces in a MUCH larger world...otherwise I went from getting this on day one to, I wish this didn't exist.

I like that this is a much more laid back game and that traversal has actual mechanics, as trekking seems to be the main activity, while fighting is more of a side thing, although I'm sure there will be story missions that require you to go through BT areas, which house much more dangerous creatures than the one shown here (Kojima refered to it as "Zako" several times, which means cannonfodder/weakling). Ofcourse I do understand that most players expect to be taken for a ride instead, so many won't really appreciate what Kojima tries to do here and that's fine.

I don't follow...

I'm gonna be polite and say that currently it doesn't appeal to me

I will say I am very interested in the story and hoping it keeps its weirdness which is something Kojima probably not going to let me down. Gameplay wise, I feel I will get bored and then distracted and probably never finish it unless things get way more interesting then what I am seeing from this demo. Probably will not be a day one pick up from me but at some time, I usually will always pick up a Kojima show piece.

not watchig. I'm already sold to Death Stranding Goty 2019.

Tbh I want to be more interested in the game but so far it's all been cryptic or awkward looking.

Looks incredibly boring gameplay-wise. Visuals are also pretty unimpressive for a PS4 exclusive (which to be fair is open world, but so is Spider-Man right?) and those environments.... so empty and dull.

I wonder if in this setting, biological wombs have been replaced by artificial ones. I can picture such a future actually...
