Astral Chain is sticking, hope the shortages are over, and the Switch Lite gives it a little bump, still easy 100k considering digital is missing, I hope it legs its way to 200k

I really, really like astral chain alot, I'm having such a great time with it. I love the gameplay mechanics, the duo control is really intuitive and fun. I love the rpg like element too. The music, visuals.... spot on and nearly perfect. Such a great exclusive. Glad to see it make the chart, I hope it has solid legs and sells slowly but surely to a few hundred k.... does anyone know why the cartridge version is so expensive in Japan?I dont get why.

Just an old man, a family man, and a gamer. My family is more important to me then life itself.

Another great week for Switch hardware

MHW did great!

So mhw just become the best selling game in japan again this gen. It did around 300k this week so total should be well over 4 million including digital.

The expansion is DLC and the retail release included the original game, we don't know what the digital sales look like, I think its far reaching to come to that conclusion.

A DLC that acts exactly the same way as the Ultimate version did. New environments, new quests (G-Rank), new gears and new monsters, they both do the same.

I mean, yeah, guess we should wait for the results of these digital sales.

Icebourne could be well over 1 million in japan. Over 4 million for the base game so 1/4 buying the expansion would be about right

Damn u wasn't expecting the Switch to keep it that high for this week... idk if people don't care about the Lite as much as we thought or if it will really be that big. It's rare that consoles do these kind of numbers before a new version comes out. I guess this time it's different since they don't really give the same experience. People really wanted a better battery life it seems

Switch holding nicely and should have erased all the ground it lost during the period preceding the launch of the new model. Monster Hunter doing wonders for the PS4 too, I think it's 3 times what it did last week.

It had only ~3.5k left to make up for, so yeah... a new YTD year over year high by a notable margin now.

Switch Lite launches in week 38. Two months of rather easy comparisons ahead, then the six-digit-figures start with Pokémon: Let's Go.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

The Switch has now topped 2 million units sold for 2019. Nine weeks faster than it took in 2018.
