Three Houses was the biggest surprise. It's holding up well. Astral Chains I feel like we are going to need the official numbers on.

Also August is way down. Kind of expected I guess since we are at the end of the cycle. Curious how much of an effect Switch had on hardware sales because despite it being up, HW sales are still down by quite a bit.

How can anyone even feel bad about Remedy?

They murdered their own game by pushing the PS4 vanilla to the side with terrible performance and it doesn't help the game looks too bland and without colour.

The other side of the coin, is 9? out of the top20, arn't avalible on the Switch.

Kind of a slow month all things considered. Any new release that sells less than Minecraft and GTA 5 this month didn't really sell a significant amount IMO.

Astral Chain did better than I expected. Ouch at Control not even making the top 20, though as has already been said, given how horribly it runs on base hardware it kinda deserved to flop.

4 exclusives in the top 10. Mario Kart 8 is multiplatform.

I imagine a good zero of those sales were on Wii u so it might as well be exclusive at the moment

I'm a person of technicality, so if a game's available on more than one platform, it's not an exclusive in my book. Not really worth having an extended debate over though, so I won't.

That's free economy, without rules and restrictions anybody does what they think will make them the most money...
