Forums - Nintendo Discussion - New Nintendo Switch Experience (Learn More on September 12)

Is this real? Looks ****ing stupid.

Um...Nintendo, you just love trolling us. You spend all your days trying to figure out ways to humiliate us in front of our friends. Hmmm...I wonder how much they're going to charge us for this resistance band. The software can't be that spectacular. I'm hoping no more than $49.99, but I'm not sure who's going to buy it. I guess we'll have to wait until September 12th to see how much of a WTF this is. I was overly optimistic about Labo. Not making that mistake again...yet.

Nintendo, you're so cute when you keep trying to shoehorn non-gaming stuff into your systems.

Vitality sensor finally making a reappearance?

One thing I will say is that at least with the Switch these initiatives are not the main selling point or even necessary to the ecosystem, as opposed to the Wii. If they succeed they can be major cash cows for Nintendo. If they fail Nintendo doesn't have much to lose since the brand itself is fire at the moment and one weird niche peripheral failure isn't going to change that any time soon. As long as they keep hitting their main release titles out of the park they can continue making little science projects and I don't see too much harm in it.

Switch Fit.

I'm not sure I see what the appeal of that would be. Switch fit is obvious from the trailer. Labo didn't capture the casuals, maybe this will (probably not)

Maybe this is supposed to be some exercise thing? Labo was meant to be a niche product for kids who like Lego and similar stuff, perhaps this will fill another niche. The great thing about the Switch is that it's so versitile, Nintendo can use it for stuff that you might not think would have a market at first.

This is hilarious to look at. Emily Rogers actually said that this game has really nice graphics for what it is so I’m curious to see what it looks like. However, I’m still sad that Wii fit got a switch alternative before Wii sports

Honestly, that video really got my interest. The blonde is totally my type.

Also, why didn't they show what's on the TV? This feels kind of like that first Wii U video where they seemed to not want people to know what the hell they were looking at.
