Fiora has always been the Xeno babe.

This is my 3rd best game ever.. only OoT and Xenogears is better for me.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Very cool news, and I love the graphical upgrade. The character models were definitely the weakest part of the original, and so seeing them updated to a new style makes this a must-play.

Curious if there will be any added story-content, and if so, how much. Maybe...

Spoiler!
it'll be revealed why Malos and Shulk both wield Monados...maybe Alvis is an Aegis? Or another reason that I could never see coming. Maybe we'll see Zanza listening to Klaus' speech to Rex, sort of a reversal of the Xeno 2 ending.

Of course, just playing the exact same game with updated visuals is already appealing enough, so I don't mind. Hype!

The final shot of the trailer is from an area that got cut from the original, the Bionis Shoulder and Shulk's English voice actor over a month ago, teased on Twitter he just completed a project that some of his fans would be interested in. They are definitely adding new story content to the game.

On the one hand, it is a bit annoying they're spending time and resources on this instead of making an actual fresh new game, but at least in this case it's a game that was criminally overlooked due to its horribly mismanaged release, so it may finally get the exposure it always deserved.

Will only buy if you can *spoiler maybe* choose Melia over the other girl this time.

Monolith has 4 teams. This isn't impeding the potential for a new game in the series or even a new IP as this is certainly not one of their primary teams.

Shouldn't that be the other way around, that if wouldn't be impeding new game development cos it's NOT one of their primary studios?

Correct.  That was supposed to say 'not'.

I'd still rather they be assisting with the making of a new game like with BOTW, but I think I've said more than enough in the past about how I feel about last gen ports on Switch so I'll refrain from another spiel and try to look on the bright side, that at least the game might have a chance to reach an audience now that it never did on Wii/3DS.

They are making a new IP though they have 4 teams, one is helping with BOTW's sequel, one is working on this and another is working on a new IP which so far all they've said about it is that it's western centric in approach. The team working on this are likely also a small team as they're not doing everything from the ground up projects like these make sure the are no idle teams in the studios.
