Forums - General Discussion - [Update] Officially two years cancer free

Well, this is it; my last day with two normal legs, but also hopefully my last day of having cancer.

The operation’s early tomorrow morning. My leg will be outta commission for a while afterwards, but over time, the nerve graft should grow in and take over for the removed one. It’s amazing what medical science can do nowadays.

This will be a challenging process, but I learned to walk once before; pretty sure I can do it again!

Wishing you all the best in surgery and a speedy recovery! I am glad you are receiving the necessary care even with all the craziness going on in the medical world today.

What games will you play while you are recuperating?

Thanks man! Well, I gotta finish replaying The Evil Within, then I reckon I might revisit Resistance Fall of Man and Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage now that I have the Reignited Trilogy, then Outer Worlds when it comes out on Switch June 5th. :)

Good luck with the surgery. Hope to hear again from you very soon.

Take care!

Good luck. I know it can be stressful. Doctors found a brain cyst back in february 2018, and I spent all the way til november not knowing what would happen and getting freaked out watching brain surgery youtube videos. Eventually, I just stopped caring. I'm fine, though. I was born with it, and my body had already adjusted to it, so no surgery. Wishing you the best.

Gogogo Curl get rid of that nasty thing!

Good luck man!

Thanks again guys for walking with me on this journey.

Catch you all on the flipside!

Wow, sounds like this whole ordeal will finaly have a happy ending soon. You fought this like the Foo Fighter are fighting the foo. (Bringing this up since I saw a video of them being posted.)
I like your positive atitude towards your surgery. I think this is as difficult, as it is effective. So congratulations for being so incredibly far from giving up. I bet you will walk in no time.
I broke my ankle two years ago and it hurt for a long time and my leg was super weak. I was always in a bad mood and did not believe it could heal to the way it was. But as soon as I changed my outlook to a more positive one, it felt way better and faster healing.
You had it way worse and handled it seemingly way better. That is really something. Please give an update as soon as your can.
All the best.

Good luck Curl!
