I've been trying to do that this year. Down 20kg since January so far. Aiming for another 10kg still though.

My method: Usually eat once a day (1 chicken breast, maybe 2 if I'm feeling greedy and sometimes an egg or 2 as well), occasionally more than 1 meal a day, and sometimes even none. Daily exercise. And finally drinking a lot of wine (I don't know why, but I usually seem to lose quite a bit of weight after a night of heavy drinking).

Please tell me you are joking...

You lose weight in water because you dry out but you do not lose fat when drinking alcohol, so yeah drinking wine is not the best advice.

At 83kg I am at the upper border of my ideal weight range, due to not being able to exercise as much as I normally do over the last 7 and a half months since my surgery.

I'm working on getting out on more and longer walks, eating smaller portions, and I've cut out red meat.

Just came to say I went from 83kg to 72kg now in a year in a half

Go down slow, walk more, sleep and eat less. Weight training is great too. I recomend Greg Doucettes anabolic frenchtoast and icecream so you can eat more and feel more full

Good luck to everyone and hope you all stay healthy

Dropped 4.8 kg in one week! Let's go! Don't know how that is even possible.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Dietary fiber?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Water loss due to a reduction in sugar/carbs which require high amounts of water to process. Diabetics are often thirsty and bloated with excess water.

Everyone wants to lose weight and here I am bulking up. What I learned over the last years is that body physique is more important than weight. Lot of people get skinny fat when losing weight and look worse than before.

Not really sure but I'm having a sandwich with 4 egg whites, one cup of spinach and two pieces of bread for breakfast; one piece of breast chicken and three cups of vegetables (mainly spinach as well), and a milkshake for dinner. Plus the "fat burners".

The hardest part of losing weight these days I find is that even though I've quit junk food, I find hard to give up things like my fortnightly virtual drinking sessions with friends or weekly pizza night, just cos in this stressful time these little comforts are all the more addictive.

At least I'm not gaining any weight; I weigh myself on the 1st of every month (and I've kept records of these going back 8 years) and I've been stable at 83kg since the 1st of October. And I'm not technically overweight. I'd just like to get a little more safely inside my ideal range rather than being right at the upper end of it.
