3DS XL, first one felt too small.

Nintendo trademarked it as Gameboy Color, not Gameboy Colour! Do you call Fortnite, Fortnight? 

I'm torn between the DS Lite and the New 3DS. Both were enormous improvements over their previous iterations, but the New 3DS's were mostly specific to the 3D effect while the DS Lite's improvements were on all aspects of the user experience - so I think ultimately I'm going to go with the DS Lite for the win.

New 2DS XL, despite not owning one. To me it's the overall best piece of handheld hardware from both the tech itself and software library. In a sense it's worse than the 3DS XL as it lacks 3D, but that's a feature most couldn't care less about, $50 difference in price is much more valuable, as is it's cooler n sleeker design.

I'm curious to know if Switch Lite will become anyone's favorite given it's worse than the regular in every way.

It could be considered better in some ways for a lot of people. It has a proper D-Pad, it fits in your pocket, and it's $100 cheaper.

Every way besides price of course.

Nintendo has yet to officially make one, but there are third party Joy-Cons with d-pad if you really need it, and from what I can tell it looks bigger than the N3DS XL which only barely fits into my pocket, but eh technically it's still more portable regardless. Even the smallest insignificance can be a reason I know, that's why I'll be interested in hearing from those who prefer it over the regular.

Still, Switch Lite comes with a D-Pad out of the box and the regular Switch doesn't. Another potential plus for parents buying for their kids is that due to the integrated controls its likely to be more durable and doesn't have separate parts to lose.

It's kind of funny how people were so fine with the label "Gameboy" but were really creeped out by the suggestion of a more mature revision called the "Gameman"

In general though, I call things whatever I feel like calling them, for example, Pangolier in Dota2 is called Pangoloid in my world. Bloodseeker is Bloodcyka, etc.
And I've never even thought about how to spell fortnight because I've never talked about that game before. But thanks for the idea. Fortnight it is!
