Standings are updated on the Google Sheet through Week 7, with Rol's extra win included (although I honestly probably should've taken it away considering he picked the Jets to beat the Pats last week). I think I found the issue with Thursday night picks not showing up on time: I believe the problem is that the sheet only shows edits after it's been specifically generated, and since I was a little late generating the sheet the past couple weeks it didn't show up. To that end, everyone who picked KC last week gets credit for a TNF game...because I can't guarantee if they were late or not. Qwerks of trying out a new system I suppose.

Huh? Why would I pick the Jets? You must be messing with me.

Otherwise I'll post my picks in this thread for the rest of the season because the Google method is too unreliable.

EDIT: I opened the week 7 template and it shows Patriots. Furthermore, I counted a 10-4 record for week 7 for me. That brings my total for the season to 66 correct picks, but your standings show only 64. What's up with that?

GB@KC was a great football game. The Packers owned the first quarter and went up 14-0, then the Chiefs changed things up and halftime couldn't come soon enough for the reeling Packers, because adjustments were desperately needed on both offense and defense. The third quarter belonged to the Pack again; a long drive ended with an FG to tie the game at 17, then McCoy fumbled the ball to set up the Packers for an early 4th quarter TD. One quick TD by either team brought the score to 31-24 and that was also the final score because the Packers managed to run out the clock when they got the ball with over 5 minutes left despite the Chiefs still sitting on all of their timeouts.

The Chiefs may have been without Mahomes, but Moore had one of the better games of his career with nearly 300 passing yards, 2 TDs and no INT. He got the ball out fast to avoid pressure and was supported by a solid running game, except for the already mentioned fumble. The Packers defense had a couple of blown coverages again, but the team played okay for the most part.

Rodgers completed a couple of miracle passes that will make his two almost-picks forgotten. Another 3 TD passes bring his season total to 16, so that's not too shabby halfway through the season, albeit still some way off from his best years; he had 8 TD passes in the last two games alone though, so he's certainly feeling more comfortable lately. Aaron Jones is at 11 total TDs for the season, I think. The versatile RB is a real asset for this offense.

A 7-1 record halfway through the season is amazing and additionally constitutes more wins than during the entire last season (6-9-1). Still, the 49ers and Saints seem to be the two most complete teams in the NFC, so the Packers definitely have to get better as the season goes on if they want to be Super Bowl favorites. The first objective is to win the NFC North which won't be easy because the Vikings aren't slacking off, but I'd say both the Packers and Vikings will go to the playoffs regardless of who wins the division.

The Bears suck.

There were two "RolStoppable" entries for Week 7: I assumed it was your way of trying to edit your picks since the manual method of doing so wasn't working out last time. I took the later one assuming it was your intentioned changed picks. The second "Rolstoppable" had two more incorrect picks, which explains the 66 vs. 64 discrepancy.

If the second wasn't you, then that...is strange, to say the least. I suppose I can just require email addresses to get around that, but it's bizarre to see someone trying to impersonate someone else on a prediction league.

EDIT: Upon further scrutiny, it looks like the second RolStoppable didn't have the s capitalized, which I suppose should've been something of a giveaway.

Did anyone here...enter a separate pick list for Rol to prank me or something?

EDIT v2.0: Decided to go back through the version history to see if maybe I had accidentally somehow changed someone else's name to Rol's, and I hadn't. Assuming it wasn't you, then some other person definitely submitted their picks under your tag.

No idea what I picked for some games for Week 7 or Week 8 but apparently I have been doing well.

It was probably hatmoza who pulled off that stunt. I submitted only once for week 7 and I know how to spell my username.

That's funny someone tried messing with Rol. I thought you could see our emails we use to login because google makes you log in before picking. I just use my old gmail account with same name. Anyways it wasn't me. I guess if it happens again then maybe listing email or something would help. I suppose you should only be suspicious if there are two entries.

I don't even think Jets fans would pick them over New England.  However they did beat the cowgirls.

One of the least interesting weeks on paper led to pretty much everyone doing really well. Hooray.

Rol came extremely close to the fabled perfect week, but unfortunately he was undone by the Bears' utter incompetence. Kind of ironic for a Packers' fan. Here's to Matt Nagy calling like 60 pass plays per game.

As per usual, I'm too lazy to tiebreak past round one of PP yet, so if standards are slightly off, blame that. I believe everything should be added up correctly, although after last week's shenanigans, I'd highly encourage you to check both the Week 8 picks here, as well as my math and the overall standings here.

I also really wish Level1Death would stop being so consistent at this so I could make up some ground. And now that I'm wishing, I'd also like it if my stats teacher would lay off with the hw.

This week's picks will be up with the next post.

Week 9 picks

Weird it used to make me login into a Gmail account before having to do picks on phone or PC. Now it just went straight to picks. Did you change something because I could have sworn all previous weeks I had to login with account on PC or phone.
