Jesus the Giants are terrible.

Or are the Cowboys that good?

The cowboys are a solid team but a lot of the runs they made could have been caught short and Eli fucked up a bit too.

The Pats currently have Antonio Brown invalid for week 1, N'keal Harry on IR, and Gronk possibly waiting to un-retire. If Steelers can't at least stay within 10pts, the NFL is doomed.

Update: Demaryius Thomas was also out for Pats, and the final score was 33-3.

If Belichick can keep AB and Gordon out of trouble, I'm having a tough time imagining New England losing anytime soon.

My God, the drama in New Orleans right now.

Didn't affect their ability to win.

Have Sammy Watkins on my fantasy team but didn't start him. I still won first match up but I suppose I'll start him next week... Lol

Yeah, I don't see how other teams are suppose to cover Thomas, Gordon, AB, Edelman and Dorset.  Especially with White being able to catch in the back field and take off running.  And the Pats defense isn't half bad either.  The Pats are looking tough this year.

This could be the last best chance for Brady-Belichick to finally get that mythical 19-0. Everyone remembers the biggest upset ever, falling to Eli in '07, but they had a team in 2015 that could've gone all the way after starting 10-0 before Edelman suffered a season-ender in week 9/10.
They ended up losing 4 of their last 6 by basically a score in every game, including an OT loss to the Broncos which gave up homefield. And then they lost by 2 in the AFC Championship to the Super Bowl champion Broncos; so it cost them maybe another Super Bowl too.

Looking at their schedule now, if they can manage to move past their demons in Miami they don't even have a playoff team until week 9 at Baltimore. Gives them lots of time to figure out what their best team is.

Looks like I got 13 picks right in week 1. A great start.

I had submitted a second round of picks because I did the first one without knowing anything about trades and drafts. I don't know everything I changed, but I had the Dolphins winning at first! But I had also picked the Titans because the other team are the Browns, but I changed my mind because writeups were down on the Titans and up on the Browns going into this season.

Anyway... what I got wrong beyond the Titans@browns game was Bills@Jets (stats show a turnover festival) and Lions@Cardinals which ended with a tie. So only two toss-up games went against me, plus an auto-fail for a tie.

Looking at the spreadsheet, we have lots of Pack-haters this year. Stick to your guns and lose the prediction league, please.

Most shocking result of the week was Steelers@Patriots. Not because the Pats won, but because of how big the margin was.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I won my football pool this week! Woohoo! 13-2-1. Thank you Raiders for holding the Broncos down to field goals and keeping the combined score low.
