I only comment on Sony games I play on my Pro 👍

I only comment on Microsoft games I play on my Scorpio 👍

Ive said numerous times here that I don’t enjoy most MicroSony games 👍

Still waiting for how this is relevant 👍

The relevance is from you pretending to not be biased and console warrior, but most would recognize you defend MS and attack Sony.

No ones unbiased friend. And no, you don’t see me playing console warz here. And by “most” you just mean the rest in your ranks, which I couldn’t care less about 👍

No plans right now, long term goal, seems pretty clear to me. Feel free to keep being confused by it though 😆

I know english isn't my first language but "no plans right now" is different than "the plan is to not put first party contente right now". They seem very contradictory statements and funnily enough people born in USA read it just as a contradiction as I did.

And as this thread has proven, those people are going to find contradictions no matter what they say, usually without even reading what they say 👍

I mean look at you there trying to tell me the same comment (no plans right now) have two different meanings 😆

Please keep it up, this is good entertainment before its fantasy draft season.

I just wanted to interrupt you two love birds. Don you seem very impatient to prove a point which isn't going anywhere, why don't you look at the guy Ludicrous is debating with, a guy with a Sony CEO's head as an Avatar and does nothing but bash Xbox in almost every Xbox thread.. I mean its really not hard to find or realize this either. If you want to play the Justice Warrior card than maybe its best you don't pick sides yourself and question those who act just as bad or fit your description as a console fanboy?

Look at this messageing.... 1day lateron.

"You know, we would like to see Game Pass on all platforms ultimately and I think that is a long term goal. We don't have any specific plans today, but we would love to see Game Pass really go everywhere." - head of gaming services Ben Decker (microsoft)

If games come day1 to Gamepass, and the "company plan" is to get Game Pass on all platforms (also consoles)....
Its a day lateron, and Microsoft managed to get PR to say something totally differnt than what was said yesterday.

Am I the only one that notices theres a communication issue over at xbox?
No one else see's this as a issue?

Nope.  MS has stated on more than one occasion that gamepass, Xcloud is the future.  MS will be pushing to make both very successful and since Xcloud and gamepass really go very well together it make sense that MS would want them on as many platforms as possible.  Would you consider this any different from Google Standia.  Do you believe Google cares if you use their could service on Xbox, PS or Nintendo system, No.  From interviews, it seems MS is already trying to get away from the console wars and move into new territory.  That territory is where content is king and the hardware can be considered like a PC where any vendor can create the hardware to run it.

The problem is the "Has no futher plans to bring first party games to other platforms" statement from a few days ago.

If they want to go 3rd party just be truthfull and admit it, which seemingly this "our future goal is gamepass on all platforms" kinda is.
You know the only reason they re trying not to say that, currently is because they wish to sell you a Xbox Two, as a place to play Xbox exclusives.

Imagine if mid gen, the PS5 gets gamepass?
At that point, was the purpose of owning a xbox two?

I think the fundamental problem you guys are having with a lot of your arguments here is that MS in all likelihood doesn't understand their platform to be the traditional consoles that we tend to associate with the term. Microsoft's "platform," moving forward, is a combination of GamePass, XCloud, and Xbox Live. How, and where you're accessing those things doesn't matter to them all that much. In the near future, that's very likely to still be mostly tied up with the Xbox consoles themselves, as well as PC, but ultimately, their goal is obviously for those services to overtake the importance of the hardware it's associated with.

One guy says they have no plans to bring some first party games to non-MS platforms.

Other guy says they’d prefer to have GamePass everywhere, but no plans right now.

Ignoring the fact that the bottom line with both comments is that there are no plans, it’s clear that to Microsoft, their goal is for Xcloud and GamePass to be a platform. If years from now GamePass is on Switch and PS5, that’s a win for MS.

Also the point of owning a Scarlett in that scenario is MS will still sell all those GamePass games at retail and most people would still prefer to either have the physical copy or own the digital copy. Whereas on PS5 the only way to play Halo Infinite would be to subscribe to GamePass and stream it with Xcloud.

As if Sony wouldn’t love for PSNow to be on every console? Either way, reading both of those comments, would you be able to stroll into GameStop and buy Halo Infinite or Outer Worlds 2 for PlayStation? No.

Ever think that MS don't want to release games on a 1 to 1 basis anymore like Ori and Cuphead, instead want to drive Gamepass as there ultimatum? Pushing for Nintendo and Sony to accept Gamepass on there consoles if they want there customers to have access to Xbox games instead of MS outsourcing and publishing the games themselves? Other wise it pushes there customer hands to go out and invest into a Xbox console or Windows PC which Sony and Nintendo wouldn't want that.

It makes perfect sense and they have said they want Gamepass on everything and also stated they don't have any future plans to release 1st party games on other consoles anymore.

Its honestly not rocket science. How does this confuse people I have no idea.
