You don't have to be a nice person to want to be in your child's life, and want him in yours.  You just have to not be a scumbag.  

Plenty scumbags around though. scumbags also make for really attractive prospects to women who aren't all that up to date on minding themselves! Can lead to lots of kids without a dad or well... with a dad who is currently on the longest round trip to the store since Amelia Earhart.

If someone was to think the comment was serious, what would the issue be? Someone who can't see a joke getting offended for a smelly child made up and disrespected in the same single line post? If they start a gofundme page for said child I think I would be the only beneficiary of the funds, as the unwanted smell child's creator!

Shit I think at this stage 50% of every post I make on this site is in some way intended to be at least light hearted and slightly humour based, I'm 36 imo that's too old to be getting serious or bent out of shape by most things online. Unless someone replies and just calls me a c**t or w/e, that gets old fast.

I will keep them in mind when I click submit and grin to myself like an idiot about my daft comments like the one in the "Ads" thread. I couldn't help that I read the title of it initially with an i in the middle and made my comment based on that "mistake"

Best jokes are those people aren't completely sure you are joking. But they need to at least suspect it may be. I think I fail on giving the shread of suspicion. People end up thinking I'm dead sure.

Although I'm always aware that if a joke involves some word play and double entendre's then they could be more easily missed by someone who doesn't have English as a first language.
