Sales dipping a bit on all fronts though I wonder if some of it is in anticipation of the revision systems on their way, I kinda feel bad for the old stock which was in warehouses or on shop shelves, like if you're a small mom and pop store and you've got 10 Switch systems in the back, you gotta be selling your customers a version of the system which you know to offer half the battery life at the exact same price but otherwise what would happen to those old versions of the Switch? I guess maybe hackers for homebrew since Gen1 Switch is really easy to hack might want one, but.... seems weird to me that two fairly different versions of a console exist on shelves depending on when is the last time that company got stock from Nintendo rather than a warehouse of their own filled with old stuff.

I'm not sure I follow you? Do you not have any independent game stores around you that aren't part of a franchise like Gamestop or so?

Something like that, just a one of a kind store which sells new games and systems as well as retro.

Google "independent game stores near me" you might have some cool video game store which isn't branded into selling you laser burn protection when you want to buy a game on the 3DS......... seriously....

Joking of course but I'm not sure it's angry at how cool the ps4 sells, maybe just some of the wording on threads is a bit odd, there was a week a while ago where the ps4 was over Switch and it was Airhorns.wav about how the ps4 dominated (was by a few k) and that the Switch was done for because of it, later the same week the numbers were adjusted to reflect the Switch having sold more (was by a few k) the Switch is RIPMANIA posters changed to .... "well.... it looks like that's a draw then" It's fine to be chuffed that both systems are doing great and it's a healthy mix of high powered PS4's going into home systems and then Switches going into some home gaming setups and also replacing the handheld market almost entirely, just as long as you don't have to think that if one wins a week that the other is doomed or visa versa, Both do great, it's good for everyone.

You know... I'm kinda half rooting for the PS4 to remain in line with the Switch just so that EA doesn't consider turning their attention to Nintendo's machine to see if they can add a credit card swiping tool onto the Joycons of it, PS4 doing well means they have a target audience to keep buying Madden 2020 there.

Shame really, every gamestop you walk into is pretty much the same as the last one including the staff being keen to push the products that head office has told them to get rid of that week. Those stores are dying imo because you get more personality from the Amazon.co.uk front page

If only Sony would drop the RRP below $299... It's almost 6 years old for goodness sake! Remarkable that it's close to Switch still now, but when the $199 Lite drops it's going to get demolished.
