FE3H did that with only 6 days!!!!!!
This is how Intelligent System should handle the franchise.

Giving the reins of the franchise to Koei was a fantastic idea. The studio behind FE3H is quite underrated.

I dont specifically know what Koei contributed (I read something about the animations and design from FE Warriors)But yes. Koei Tecmo and the artist/designer + the story writer did an awesome job. Hoping they would stay for the next FE game.

Switch was up YOY.

Switch sold 265k~ last year.

"Spending declined across all in market Console platforms in July, while only Nintendo Switch has experienced sales gains year-to-date."

I really do not think that quote means that the Switch was up in this specific month.

Correct. He's talking about the year as a whole so far. He also says that all console spending saw a decline in July. My guess is Switch is down somewhat for the month because of the Lite and improved model announcement.

Koei Tecmo did the majority of the game. Three Houses is actually a bit analogous to Three Kingdoms. The FE Warriors team is actually very different from the team that did FE Three Houses. Omega Force is currently hard at work with Persona 5 scramble and others.

"Intelligent Systems provided Koei Tecmo with a minimum crew of several designers, a music composer, and an adviser to the programmers... we then left Koei Tecmo in charge of basic game development," said director Toshiyuki Kusakihara (Intelligent Systems is the studio behind Fire Emblem and Advance Wars)

Fire Emblem three houses > 300K at retail

The Fire Emblem series continues its growth in the West (waifus and husbandos always win :p) and Switch wins the month, congrats to Nintendo

some crazy sales figure for FE three house first month holy shit

Gonna do some updates

When you update the NPD threads, you always remove the last year's numbers. Could you keep them there so we could directly compare the numbers between last year and this year, possibly with the changes for each console YoY?? Just a suggestion...

8 of the top 10 playable on the Switch, that's pretty awesome when people try to play the "well it doesn't get the big games that gamers want to buy" argument. Having stuff like MK11 and Minecraft on the system alongside Mario and Breath of the wild really is cool to see.

BOTW top 10 28 months after launch...what a crazy world. Spider-Man is doing super well as well

To be fair I'm still playing it 28 months after launch! Hyrule is an amazing crazy world to get lost in for hours/days..../months.

Oh wow. They must have really trust them to do this for the first FE game on the switch. I wonder what majority of the team in IS were doing all this time.

IS is probably just a small team, they have had many of their games co-developed. They of course made sure that the FE was still to their standards with concept, design, and music.
