If true, this won't have caught many of us off guard, given the results of the recent thread we had on this topic. I'm willing to skip the salt on this one. Good chance this plays out.

Man it's crazy how fast time has gone by. Barely feel like the PS4 has even been out that long.

Sounds about right. Early reveal a few months before E3, and then price, games, full specs, shown at E3.

2013 was one of the best years in my life.

The PS4 pro and PSVR I have are great, they are they epitome of this entire generation of gaming I believe because of the quality and quantity of games it has. Glad it won this gen for its innovation, combining friendly features, and has great graphics and power for its price. I am excited to see what next gen brings. Especially excited about next gen graphics and ray tracing, because so far PlayStation first party games have been blowing the competition away with visual fidelity towards realism.

I'm ready for the PlayStation 5.

I pre ordered my PS4 and have been playing it this entire generation and i also feel like it went way too fast, the PS3 gen was also 7 years and it felt longer, i guess this is what happens when you got tons of great games to play all the time.

Well, whenever the PS5 is released, I think most people would be best off waiting a couple years. The PS3 took until summer 2008 to really start getting good exclusive games. PS4 didn't have much outside of Bloodborne, and Infamous for the first couple years. Best model of the PS3 came out in 2008. PS4 didn't get a its best model until 2016. Even PS2 had the slim later on.

Anyway, don't get a PS5 at launch. Sony is awesome, but the first couple years of PS consoles have been rough the last couple generations.
