I don't know for sure, but I don't believe the Switch Lite will have the necissary cooling to be able to put games out in Docked Mode. This would lead to games being put out at as low as 240 - 360p. That kind of resolution is within reason on a 5.5" display, but it is just not going to cut it on a 55" 4K screen. I simply don't think that it reached a minimum level of Quality that Nintendo was willing to put their name on.

Uh, what? The only Switch game I'm aware of that outputs below 360p is Ark, and that's cos it's a complete an utter technical abortion that never should've seen release. You're massively lowballing Switch's portable performance here.

Per Eurogamer, Ark was running 360p in Docked Mode, with drops to as low as 304x170. They say the Portable mode yeilds even lower resolutions.

Doom and Wolfenstein both run at 640x360 on the regular in handheld mode.

WWE 2K18 runs at 540p - 720p in Docked mode. They were unable to test Portable Mode, but you can rest assured it is lower.

I know these are just a few examples, and Nintendo games and a lot of other 3rd party titles run at better resolutions, but it is an indication of where things are heading for people purchasing a Switch Lite in September of this year. New 3rd party titles will only become more demanding. 240p may be a bit extreme, but a dynamic resolution between 360p and 540p is already quite common amoung Switch games in Portable Mode. I know I wouldn't want to play a game in 360p on a 32" screen let alone something 50 - 80".

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Even Doom and Wolfenstein II only run at 360p at worst. And that's still only 3 out of the more 4800 games available on the Switch, so less than 0.01% of the library.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to play portable mode on a big screen either, but the idea that 360p or below is common on Switch in this mode just isn't true, it's extremely rare.
