Honestly dont give a f*** about Ninja.....
I feel like this is a waste of money, why not use that $ on makeing a game instead?

Because MS wants people to go and watch streams on their platform. it means they need to bring big names over there. It is an investment, not a waste.

I seriously doubt the number is actually $50m. I'm gonna need official confirmation, or something very close to it, before I believe that.

Edit - On second thought, I could see $50m over 5-6 years. Or, maybe like a base of $5m per year, with a bunch of incentives that could bring the theoretical max to $50m.

I saw a tweet a few days ago that it's $10m per year and that the contract is 5 years.

That seems relatively reasonable.

So its the 3rd day now....

And Twitch has like ~180k viewers of fortnite.... while Mixer has ~30k.

Ninja is at 22k @Mixer atm.
While theres a guy with 51k called Tfue , and another called alonzoka (25k) on Twitch.

Ninja used to be the biggest fornite streamer right (on twitch)?
Now theres like 2-3 people bigger than him (atm).

This move doesnt make sense, unless Ninja got paid really well.

Ninja was the biggest streamer and is still if we go by popularity. On Twitch he's been averaging like 30k over the last few months and is usually trading spots with Tfue for most viewers.

Yeah my point was just.... hes not going to remain the most popular fortnite streamer anymore.
Give it a few months, and he ll be way down the list.
