Forums - Gaming Discussion - Ninja Leaves Twitch for Mixer.

He can also have a lot of viewers on Mixer but Twitch has the huge advantage of free financial support with Amazon Prime (if that's still the case). He probably has tenths of thousands paying subsribers who just do that “for free“ with Amazon Prime.

That's a general Problem for Mixer streamers I guess. Most user simply don't want to pay money but they can still support a streamer financially just with Prime which a huge amount of people have.

50 million? That guy must be laughing his *ss off. I would anyway.

And also, I also never heard of Ninja and Mixer.

https://mixer.com/90571077 He's live now.

I guess it's a good way of making the platform known to everyone since I did not know Mixer was a thing until I heard about that news. Is it worth the amount of money they've paid him? Not sure, we'll see.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Mixer sounds like a dating app.

don't you guys watch the Microsoft E3 conferences ? they always advertise their Mixer platform in those

No. Never been big on MS consoles. Owned the first Xbox, and that was enough for me. I'm more about single player games and Nintendo and Sony do it best for my gaming needs.

Can someone confirm what I suspect but I'm not sure of? Mixer can only be watched with an Xbox right?

If so, that means people who like Ninja and don't have an Xbox are forced to buy one if they wish to continue seeing their hero or something, right?

So I never really watched Ninja cause to be blunt I don't care about Fortnite but if I did, this would be my "bye-bye" to Ninja. I'm not buying a system just to watch a guy play a game.

As for Ninja himself, he obviously got a big fat check in the mail from Microsoft but he's taking a risk cause I don't know if he alone no matter how successful, can substantially raise viewership for Mixer just by working exclusively there. I guess time will tell.

Haven't tested it other than on Chrome but I'm pretty sure Mixer is just like Twitch and you can watch it from any web browser.
