So prime day had zero effect on PS4?

Possibly, we will see some adjustments.

These weekly charts I think are more useful for seeing a general baseline.

Why the massive boost for ps4 in Europe? Its even outselling the switch there this week.

Mostly due to Bastille Day and the way it leads into Belgian National Day. It happens every year. The annual BDBND boost.

Nice to see Switch holding above 200k still.

Next week is Fire Emblem, curious to see if that will cause any bump at all.

OK... I actually worry for the Xbox brand.

As it stands, at best they can only hope to match the PS5 in NA. I see its presence in the EU becoming even less next-gen... especially after this gen. Pushing only like 120k-150k consoles a month globally has to be a major cause for concern.

PS4 has been outselling Switch in Europe all year, in fact it's closer this week than usual. VGC just updated the numbers after the last quarterly report and had been pretty severely underreporting PS4 numbers in Europe this year.

XBox: Kenjabish

The Switch is holding that deserved top spot. Next week it's Fire Emblem and we will see what effect it had on hardware in the west.
