Hmmm, not gonna lie. Was hoping more from FE software and hardware wise. While I do believe FE3H will be the best selling title in the franchise, it's gonna be hard road I think now. And the hardware might just be because of the Switch Lite.

Fire Emblem Awakening did 242,600 FW.

Fire Emblem Fates did 303,666 FW.

Fire Emblem Echoes did 131,668 FW.

So it just did better than echoes. TBH wasn't sure what to expect from it.

The voucher program in Japan is a much better deal than other regions

Fire Emblem is ~$70 is Japan while 2 vouchers are ~$90 so you basically get it for 50% off in Japan so digital is likely pretty high.

Still likely below Awakening & Fates though.

I know when I was looking up sales numbers for Pokemon x/y, or/as etc Famitsu was always quite a bit higher than Mediacreate and the reason I found for it is that Famitsu included digital sales estimates. But this might not be the case anymore.

Switch lite is definitely impacting sales now. I feel like they should have waited till August to announce it.

I feel like Fishing Spirits did quite well, since I have never heard of it and is nearly 50k. Everything down YoY is sad, but will soon be rectified.

Not only the Switch Lite but the revised standard model getting the refresh with 2.5 hours extra battery life is coming in 2-3 week.

I believe they give monthly digital estimates but not weekly. They have also been proven to be not very accurate.

Does anyone NOT realize Fire Emblem came out on FRIDAY the 26th- not even a QUARTER of a week sales.

Pretty sure all Nintendo games release on Friday.
