So are we just going to pretend that in the two weeks of July so far no shipments have been made? And you see that 1.3M NS difference, thats about what I expect it to be. Not 700K!!!

Your post literally makes zero sense.

You need to compare end of June shipments to end of June sales, not end of June shipments to middle of July sales.

And if we did that the PS4 will have 3.M or so on shelves.... to the switches 1.3M or so.

That is even worse and further drives the pint I am making.

How so? You claimed PS4 was 1m undertracked and NSW 1m overtracked.

Sony gave out shipped and sold data for the end of 2018 and there was a 2.6 million difference. I know end of holiday differences are usually higher than other times of the year but with last quarter likely being overshipped, it's probably still in that same range. PS4 probably isnt anymore than 500k overshipped.

NSW is probably pretty close to right on the money as they want to slowly try to phase out the current model.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

It seems hardware numbers adjusted.

And numbers have been adjusted. Switched dropped by around 200k.

Yep 200k is pretty spot on, you said 1 million.

I still believe 200k is too small fan adjustment. Just honestly don't have the energy to debate it out as it makes no real difference anyway because at the end of the day what is really important are shipped numbers not VGC sales estimates on sold numbers.

PS4 was very undertracked indeed, now with adjustments must be closer to reality. More than 2M on transit is still a lot in this period of the year so i still think is a little undertracked but i won't "fight" for just a few 100k more or less, it's fine like this. Switch on the other side seems to be on point right now i think.

Adjustments are being made. I need to go region by region for each platform to made adjustments.

Keep up the good work, cool to see the focus on getting things as close as possible to the released figures with smaller adjustments than needing to pull the rug out from under either machines sales. Shame that MS doesn't release solid figures for their machine anymore, I could only imagine it would get a boost up from 38k I mean... it couldn't be any worse than that estimate just yet.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I don't question the PS4's sales, but I do wonder a bit where they are being sold. My guess is that the RoW is getting more and more important and the big 3 (Japan, the US and Europe) getting less and less of the global sales share.

Yes, probably. I feel the same. I miss the old days when you had "others" on the sales page. You still can obtain the number resting US+EU+JP from the total but it was a quick way to notice how much stronger can be a console outside the main markets.
