Forums - Sony Discussion - How Would You Improve Playstation Plus on the PS5?

I think adding another tier would be nice. One that bundles Plus and Now at a discount.

If free multiplayer is off the table, a more affordable option to pay for fairly little use for multiplayer would be nice. I'm not paying the price of a whole month if there's maybe three days a month I want to play online. I'm not sure what the price is exactly but it's not even nearly worth it. It's possible to get me to pay a bit for online, but there's no way to get anything from me with the current prices. Only online multiplayer and cloud saves are worth anything to me in PS+.

Add the playstation hits games to your collection for free if you are an PS+ plus member.

Let's face it most of the games in the list are not selling consoles at the moment or are selling like hotcakes right now. Sure Sony lose some money because the sales of those games will fall harder but at the same time PS+ members will increase and that would in the end makes more money.

Also every few months you can add more games to the hits

It also creates the people play more buy more effect.  Some will play Horizon/God of war etc with the hits something they maybe wouldn't havne done before and they will get the new game day one.

Their are also a top of options to add on top...'I don't really want to continue my PS+ subscription but I really enjoy Persona 5 so let them have the option to buy the game for a reduced price let's say 50-75% reduction while they are still a PS+ member'. So when PS+ ends they can still play it.

Take out the online, make it free. Have PS+ subs get exclusive demos, exclusive Alphas/Betas, and play certain titles a few days early. Increase the games selection from 2 games a month to 3-4.

For those that say "it costs too much to maintain" you are the part of the problem. PC online is free. PS and Nintendo used to have free online, but they no longer don't because they know they can get away with it. Why did Sony increase the price of PS+ from $50 -> $60? Cause they can and knew they would get away with it. Also those "servers" people talk about they need to maintain doesn't include 3rd party and indie. They maintain their own servers and don't get paid by these company's subscription to help maintain them.

If I want to play Monster Hunter World on Xbox/PS then in order to access Capcom's server I need to pay Sony/Microsoft to bypass their "wall" to access a server that isn't ran/maintained by them. It's ridiculous.

While not the same, Sony kind of tried something like this once with ps plus and the Instant Game Collection after E3 2012. Those were the good days with 11+ games to play, and many of them quite decent.

I can't improve on it cause I am against paying for online gaming. When you buy a gaming system, online gaming should be part of it.

Xbox started this unfair trend, Playstation followed suit and Switch joined the party a bit late but still they joined it and I'm not happy about it.

By making online multiplayer free :/

But since that won't happen - offering two tiers. A budget one that consists of online multiplayer and the stuff no one cares about, and a premium one that consists of that plus the 'free' games plus the store discounts.

This is actually a really good idea and I wish they would do this. I don't care about the free games if I want a game I buy it and the store discounts are hardly worth it and I'd be willing to lose them.

Completly dissolve plus this piece of crap and make online play free again

By getting rid of it, and playing multiplayer games for free like it should be and not this penny pinching crap Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo are doing.

This.

1. Improve the quality of the service. They make millions and millions of dollars of PS+ and yet PSN servers seem even worse than they were on PS3.
2. Offer better games. I haven't subscribed in months, maybe even a year, because the games offered have imho been quite assy. They even reduced the number of games but still kept offering poop.

That's about it. A higher tier service that combines both, similar to what Microsoft does now with GP Ultimate, would be nice but it also seems like a logical step Sony will take.
