But please proceed with fanboying away and crying because the newest Jedi isn't a boy.  No skin off my back.  I've said my peace.

Lol.

By the way, bad acting is quite often a consequence of bad writing, and the prequels have awful writing. That's common sense. It's also common sense that the pod race scene is awesome. You haven't made yourself worth arguing with, though.

By the way, I do consider Force Awakens to be better than Episodes I and II, and I also consider The Last Jedi to be the worst movie in the series by a long margin. Still, yes, I can acknowledge that both of them have way better acting, direction and cinematography than the prequels - it's other issues that plague them.

You seem to be very good at convincing yourself that the made up thoughts and beliefs you stamp on other people are true. For that, I think I can congratulate you.

I'm seriously the only one who voted for Seltzberg (Aaron Seltzer/Jason Friedberg)?

Nobody else has even attempted to watch any of their godawful parodies besides me? Disaster Movie is the lowest-rated film on IMDb for sake of fuck. The rest of their "films" (Date Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, Vampires Suck, etc.) are wretched, unfunny, vomit-inducing pieces of shit as well, and no, Scary Movie 1 doesn't count. 1)They didn't direct it, they only wrote little snippets of that movie (they were only credited with writing the characters AFAIK), the Wayans were the ones who wrote the bulk of the script 2)if they DID actually write any of the jokes, they obviously wrote all of the jokes that sucked, and 3)there's a reason why they were "2 of the 6 writers from Scary Movie": they were fired for being talentless hacks, so no, they don't deserve credit for it (I've seen people use that movie to "vindicate" them against being the worst in the past).

There are plenty plenty plenty of directors worse than everyone on this list.
But if you mean the worst major director, then some of those guys don't count and the answer would be the cut and paste blockbuster guys who copy Michael Bay.

At least Michael Bay was original in how he did blockbusters.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

This is a mess of a list, you cant compare most of these people. Uwe Boll is by far - with almost no competition - the worst of them.

Eli Roth, Emmerich, Snyder and Anderson have no business being in this list at all whatsoever. Theyve made shit films as well as cult classics, and a couple of them good films. Despite his reputation M Night is an oscar nominee as well as succesfull in the box office and has, at the very least, 4 good worthwile films. I hate Michael Bay films as much as the next guy but he is MASSIVELY successful in the box office and if you actually bothered to check his filmography a couple of his films - like The Rock or Bad Boys 1/2- are quite decent.
I assume they are in the list because of bad rep, cause "the worst director of all time" is def. Not any of them.

Seltzer/Friedberg are shit and I could understand their being in the list, but between doing unfunny attempts at comedy vs whatever you wanna call what Uwe Boll does its an easy pick at least for me. Theres just no comparison.

Yeah it's pretty much Uwe.  But that being said I do get some catharsis out of Rampage. :D
