Nothing is stopping Sony and Microsoft from offering Portable PS4 or XBO's. If Nintendo wants to make their Ecosystem available Natively at Home and on the Go, and Microsoft and Sony want to lock you to the Home or limit you to streaming only, on competitors devices on the go, that is their choice. Nothing unfair about it.

As for the Lite itself. I have no issue with the lack of TV Output, but I am a bit let down by the lack of rumble. I'm glad the screen has been reduced to 5.5", but it stillsounds a little bit too big (will have to have it in person for final judgement). Overall, I am proabably at about 70% excitement for it. Look forward to hearing more, and will definitly Pre-Order as soon as available.

... nope. I just can't imagine what a legitimately hybrid console would look like, or what its feature set would be. I'd have to put a lot of thought into that. But to reiterate, if Nintendo's definition of "hybrid console" is good enough for you, then go for it.

Holy false equivalency, Batman! It's not like saying that at all. A hybrid car, is very well defined and very well established technology. Someone can glance at the hardware list of any hybrid car and identify it as being a hybrid. Try and define what hardware features define a console to be "a hybrid console" such that the vast majority of people would agree with it, and such that only the Switch qualifies. Seriously. Not what is shipped in the box, not the features of the games it plays, just the functionality of the hardware. Just try to do it.

Here, let's try this thought experiment. Is the Toyota Camry a hybrid car? Should Toyota count every Toyota Camry sold as a "hybrid car sale"? If Toyota came out with an all-electric Prius, should its sales also be lumped in with "hybrid car sales"? For what it's worth the term "cross over" is also marketing term that has very little meaning.
