I didn't see a thread for this, so I went ahead and made one because it should have been up about six hours ago. I suppose nero simply didn't have the time today.

Key notes:

- Yokai Watch 4 continued the IP's decline, but its first week ended up better than expectations or at least at the high end of them. Silver lining on the horizon.

- Switch hardware declined because retailers advertised a promotion that coincides with the launch of Super Mario Maker 2. Same price for the console, but with 3k yen of eShop credit included.

- The Days of Play promotion ended on June 17th, so the final day of said PS4 promotion is included in these numbers.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I'd be curious what Weeks 2 and 3 will have for Y.W. After all some titles build steam over time, others go big and then blow away.

Any ideas on the scores for YW4?

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

NSW will be huge next week though, promotion and MM2

Yet another "Pokemon killer" bites the dust.

37/40 Famitsu.

Great Ratio from YW4 when compared to COMG. Thought it would just be around 100k. Now lets see if it will have the legs like the first game!

Pocky Lover Boy!

It's really to bad about Yokai watch sales. Pokemon needs more competition right now otherwise we are going to keep getting half baked Pokemon games like Sword and Shield.

Shakarak on Nintendo Switch, Steam.

You do know that Pokemon has competition in more than just Yokai and Digimon, right? Dragon Quest and Persona as RPG's for one example.

I like how a game is half baked.... when nobody here has actually played it.
