I'd go into the battle system but it seems people have already mentioned that lol, and despite the game being linear (It sort of has to be considering how story driven it is) there's still a ton of extra content to do, and it does eventually open up and allow you to travel around, including to some hidden locations (although all this is done through a menu on a map, there's no free roam open world) Basically I could just go on forever and ever as to why you should experience what I consider the greatest game ever made, or I could just say; Give it a try, it's worth it! |
The voice acting is pretty dang bad. I mean it was one of the first fully voiced RPG’s, but it is really bad... it’s probably the one aspect of the game that drives me nuts the most... and probably the thing that really hasn’t aged well... they should have taken the opportunity to redo the voice acting when they remastered it... but oh well. Still a great game.
