As expected, Switch is notably down year over year this week (~10.5k units).

Famitsu 2018 vs. 2019

The above link is the prettier version of the table I posted in the dedicated thread for a year over year comparison.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

Story of Seasons: Trio of New Towns for 3DS opened with 110k.

Story of Seasons: Doraemon for Switch opened with 42k.

Ouch. Hopefully for the dev's sake it has a long tail. Cause outside of France and maybe a few other countries, Doraemon isn't really going to sell outside of Japan.

Japanese SoS fans didin't like the Doraemon crossover aswell.

Apparently there will be a deal for Switch hardware (same price, but including 3k yen eShop credit) starting on June 27th and retailers are already promoting it. This can be expected to limit the already limited hardware selling potential of Yokai Watch 4 further as many prospective buyers will most likely wait until Super Mario Maker 2 week.

MM2 is almost here! Too bad that promotion thing is kinda gonna mess up Yokai Watch, but that means it should have good drop in the second week

Hopefully Yokai Watch 4 gives Switch a good boost next week.

So, bracing for another very slow week before SMM2, then

They're truly banging on this packed summer season, aren't they ?

Good, the gates are soon to open and flood these lands :3

Oh wow Zelda almost returned to the top 5, its longevity is just fantastic.
How long will the PS4 deal last?
