Forums - Gaming Discussion - What's Naughty Dog been doing this whole console generation?

On the ps3 they launched Uncharted 1-3 and TLOU. But now this console generation is almost over and we only had UC4... Of course I know TLOU 2 is on its way but considering the total silence surrounding that game it makes me wonder if it isn't going to be a ps5 launch title. So fellow gamers, I say we riot at dawn!

Bigger question is what has Sucker Punch been doing this whole generation. Their first PS4-game was released a few months after launch, then one small spin-off project a few months later, then nothing for a long time

1) Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (bluepoint, but naughtydog probably kept overview of it)
2) Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
3) Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
4) Last of Us - Part II

Naughty Dog released UC4 in 2016 and UC: The Lost Legacy in 2017, so it hasn't even been two years yet since their last release.

Well they certainly haven't been working on their best franchise they have ever worked on: Jak and Daxter. :( And for some reason Sony doesn't know how to hand it off to anyone else to keep their IPs updated. It's like they leave them in generational limbo and only release remasters and collections.

Team Two is working on Savage Starlight.

Games take longer to make now. Look at insomniac, they released 3 resistance games, 4 mainline ratchet games and 2 ratchet spinoffs on PS3, as well as that fuse game.

You have to consider they launched TLOU at the twilight of PS3. So they basically will release 2 games one middle PS4 and one end of PS4 life...
But also had TLOUR, UC Collection, UC4, UC LL, TLOU2.
