Scariest Ghostbusters Moments?

Forums - Movies Discussion - Scariest Ghostbusters Moments?

This month marks the 35th anniversary of the Ghostbusters franchise, and even though it has plenty of laughs throughout the movies, cartoons and video game, there's still plenty of nightmarish things franchise-wide.

The library ghost from the first movie.

The Boogeyman from The Real Ghostbusters.

The old tunnel from Ghostbusters 2.

Ivo Shandor at the end of Ghostbusters The Game.

So what else would you say are the scariest moments across the Ghostbusters franchise?

The library ghost for sure.

The bathtub scene in Ghostbuster 2 always kind of freaked me out.

Back when I was young, the scene where Sigourney Weaver gets abducted by the dog like things made quite an impression on me.

Believe it or not, they had to redesign the puppetry for her because it was too scary.

She returns in Ghostbusters The Game in one level, where the player is separated from the other Ghostbusters, and when she sees you, she's not too happy about it.

Her screams sound so genuine. >.<

None whatsoever when it comes to live action, except maybe how terrible the humor was in the last one.
The animated series tho was creepy as hell.

I was like 5-6 yo when it aired here so the series left an impression on me.

The Boogeyman absolutely horrified me as a kid.

I was always creeped out by the painting, in Ghost Busters 2.

You'd think that DiC Entertainment would've toned down the scares when trying to reach a younger audience.

Speaking of scary stuff from the Ghostbusters cartoon, this gentleman in Paris who's asked by a tourist to pose for a picture with his wife. He agrees, provided they get his good side.

Didn't think this would turn into Raiders of The Lost Ark.

When I saw the 2016 trailer.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
