Checked back into my account and found out I was apparently banned for saying a retread of breath of the wild was lazy game development lol. Never change VGChartz.

While I agree that does sound petty to be banned over, there is no evidence that this is a retred.  There is a million different things they could do that would be far less lazy than other open world games that use cookie cutter map designs to create their "new" worlds with.  Any claims of such when we know so little about what to come can easily be viewed as downplay, be it your intention or not.

Now if it was the exact same map with minimal changes and plays the exact same way, yeah that would be lazy.  I highly doubt that will be the case however based on the fact that Nintendo has historically avoided these practices.

Probably not the first person to say this, but I'd like it if they brought back traditional Zelda dungeons into the world. I know BotW is something original, and strays far from the Zelda formula (although some might say otherwise), but I think they could use the massive world in BotW to make a non-linear Zelda game. Although I'm not sure how it would work with the lore, it would be cool to go back to something like three dungeons where the world is in State A, followed by 5 dungeons where the world is in State B. Whether it be child link vs adult link, light world vs dark world, or something new altogether, I've always enjoyed that style of Zelda progression. It makes the journey seem epic when you reflect on the adventure you had.

I am very much a fan of this theory and makes a good point in the forms that Calamity Ganon appeared in being mirrored from Wind Waker.

So a banished half-dead Ganondorf was the source of all the malice which took form as Clamity Ganon. I hope we explore further where this Ganondorf came from but it has its parallels to Twilight Princess with the spot in his stomach where he got executed.

It feels like Nintendo wants to merge all timelines into one with BotW 1+2

Makes sense to me. It's like Ganon, assuming that corpse is Ganon, is looking at Zelda to say "Did you think you were truly rid of me?!!".

Ganon is the pigform and the force that reincarnates into Ganondorf that is the Gerudo humanlike form.

I'll be surprised of this new BOTW doesn't feature optional co-op or at least the ability to play as Zelda, as I remember from the first game people had wanted the option to play as either a male or female.

I think something will happen that will change things up in the overworld, so it won't be exactly the same as the original one. They could also add stuff underground or even in the sky (though seeing the tone of the game, the latter does not seem probable).
