On reflecfion, this will be a fascinating issue to see how it impacts sales and reception. Because right now they are emphasizing the number of Pokemon actually in the game fully - that is, there to be caught and battled - is planned to be quite high. And by extension, the Regional Dex quite extensive. This could lead to a very bizarre situation where the game is regarded as being very content rich and complete and all that by one large group of players while another smaller albeit still large and definitely vocal group feels it is lacking in essential content. I'll probably be in the former camp as I have never been interested in transferring Pokemon. But there will be plenty in the latter.
Gonna join you on this one, although I completly sympathize with guys who are affected by this but yet it's the way they've decided to go and I'll respect it too even though some others might disagree.
I mean, especially since I'm only a casual player who plays for fun and just want to complete the adventure and catch the Pokémons that interest me ... and that's pretty much it, I've never lived or breath the Pokémon life some of you are claiming too.
Actually, I think with the ever growing roster now beyond 800 Pokémon, it is insane to see people spend so much time just for the sole purpose of catching them all when I'm pretty sure most of it will become stale at some point. I already thought that having a few hundreds was insane already but now ...
But yeah, an issue that will be manly vocalised by hardcore part of the Poké community which I never enjoyed to be honest ...
