A while back Sega said they were planning to bring Saturn games to the Switch but were deciding on how whether as full on remakes, remasters or porting, today we got a Panzer Dragoon Remake announced indicating they may have gone with the remake route.

If more are to come they should look to remaking Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shining Force 3.

I was just thinking of downloading the OST for this game, resigned to the fate that it and Let’s Plays are the closest I’d ever get to it. This alone makes E3 2019 a great one for me.

Looks wonderful. Never played the series much but I shall rectify that with this game.

Would be great to get an influx of Saturn games. Burning Rangers and Deep Fear would be nice.

I did not know this was happening and am happier then anything,  Panzer games were some of the best rail shooters going.  I would easily buy one or more if the remade them right.  With complete new graphics, it would be amazing.  This is a definite plus for me, as my Switch hasn't seen much use lately

It has to be remade as it was one of the greatest RPGs that most people never played or even knows exist it literally got better critical reception than even the likes of FFVII and other well know rpgs but was barely on anyone's radar. I still have my Saturn copy and it's still in good condition.

Is this a Switch exclusive?

Not remaking Panzer Dragoon Saga is a missed opportunity, but whatever, I'm happy.

Panzer Dragoon games are excellent. Anyone who liked Lylatwars (Starfox) or Sin&Punishment should chek it out.

Shining force 3 would be a dream come true. I feel like the time for it has passed though... people were clamoring for it for years, but nothing came of it. I would gladly pay full price for it though, even full price for each scenario... If they remake it that would be incredible... I just can’t invest hope in it as I feel it is very unlikely... sadly...

Well it's not like those people all died, lol. If I could get my Panzer Dragoon Saga and Banjo-Kazooie fans could get them in Smash, then why can't you get your wet dream come true? Don't stop believing!

Look at it this way: Go  back about 372 days... If I would have told you that you'd be getting a Shenmue 3, a Streets of Rage 4, a Panzer Dragoon Remake, a Phantasy Star Online 2, a Link's Awakening Remake, a Witcher 3 GOTY edition for Switch, Cuphead for Switch, a Secret of Mana 3 remake, a No More Heroes 3 and Final Fantasy 7-12 on Switch (including a FF8 remaster), would you have believed ANY of that was possible back then?
