Video conclusion

1.Sony Days of Play already happened before E3, which are a lot of price discount and console bundle and special console design

2.Sony State of Play already making a lot of buzz far before E3

3. Many Third party games already directly and indirectly promotes Sony

4.Many Sony partner (AMD for Example) already also promote PS5

5. PS5 announcement already stealing some hype and dominate the buzz and words among casual gamers and mainstream media 

6. Even Microsoft announcement is just indirectly announcing PS5

7. Final Fantasy 7 Remake steal  a lot of attention and create big Hype, and is coming exclusively for PS4

Sony is officially a shinobi and Ninja and has mastered the art of war without anyone notice 

Sony skipped E3 to allow third parties (especially Square Enix and FF7) to shine, simple as that.

Also the persona 5 Royal trailer dropped yesterday on their youtube channel.
I still believe we will see more from sony in the next week or so. May be TLOU2 on 14th? As it the 6th anniversary of the original.

Not trying to be sarcastic or condescending, but do you think that's the actual reason? To me it seems like maybe that would be a good reason to put out in a PR statement, but as a company, it doesn't make sense for them to decide to just let others have a turn just to be nice.

More likely, I think they probably have determined that not going to E3 is a more profitable move for the company, and they will use other channels to make up any potential loss of interest. But that doesn't read as nicely as a press release.

Literally all of the points made in the video either didn't make any sense or are completely irrelevant and could be applied to anything, this is like saying Nintendo already won E3 months ago by having a Direct back in February and therefore dominated the conversation for a long time

edit 2: I can see the overall point they're trying to make here (AKA Sony basically announced all the stuff they most likely would have announced at E3, just this time ahead of E3 through other means such as State of Play so in a way it already had it) but no, that still changes nothing and the reasons they're trying to use to support it are either irrelevant, make no sense, or could at least be applied to anything.... it still is reaching a lot lol. It just reads like them trying to convince themselves this. 

You do know Last Remnant remaster already released on PS4 right? 

I think there are a whole host of reasons why Sony decided to skip E3 this year...but whatever negative press they would have saw was going to be quickly overshadowed by the likes of FF7R, like FF7 did 22 years ago with the original Playstation.

And sony isnt getting bad press like MS did with his presentations. Most of the xbox centric channel on youtube were on suicide watch. Dealer, rand, crapgamer, nextgen, etc.

If thats true, then Nintendo is having E3 at least 5 times a year given their directs.

Its a nice headline, but thats simply not true.
