I'm so happy my favourite game ever is being remastered, I'm ready to buy a copy on every system I own. I know I will be let down by the quality of the remaster like I have been with VII and IX but I don't care. I have been keeping my expectations low so I won't be disappointed (like Squall would say!) and now I can finally stop wondering when they'll actually get around to it. As soon as I saw the little tease in the music ad I knew it was coming.

Of course it is announced in the shadow of FFVIIR but, for me, this was the highlight of a very good presentation.

It looks good. Textures look a lot more smoother. I think it is time to revisit this game for like the 5th time (I honestly don't remember how many times I've played this game, but they were a handful).

I was hoping for a look at the pre-rendered sections. I've been disappointed with the upscaling on VII and IX, fans have done better. I expect this to have the same flaws as those two remasters but I'm still happy.

LoD is a good game, unfortunately Sony doesn't seem very keen on revisiting their PS1 days (outside of lacklustre mini consoles), but I guess if Medievil can get a remake then there is a sliver of hope.

Yeah, that would be good for a physical collection. Then do another for 1-6. That'd just leave me waiting on FF11 getting a port to modern consoles.

Wasn’t the biggest fan of it when it came out, but I would like to revisit it. It will definitely be better than that unholy abomination that is the ffvii remake...

Not since the days of the original Playstation has there been a definitive generation to own a bunch of Final Fantasy games. Definite day one for me.
