Tales of Arise Officially announced! New beginning for the Tales series

Forums - Gaming Discussion - Tales of Arise Officially announced! New beginning for the Tales series

Suprised there is no Switch version. Looks great though, will likely pick up on PS4 if it does not at least get announced as a late port.

For long games like this I would prefer to have it portable.

Tales of Arise probably impressed me the most because of what a big makeover it seems to have gotten.
I was getting a 'Gamefreak' vibe from the Tales studio for the past c.a. 15 years where they were doing very minimalistic changes to the games over the course of three console generations. So I'm very happy to see this change, and it's something I'll be happy to support with my money as long as it's a decent game.

Did anybody else feel like some of the scenes did not support mutiple party members?

No, because we see the girl in several scenes that appear to be her fighting.

The dark background here makes it look like it may very well be her Hi Ougi (Mystic Arte).
Along with several other shots of her firing her gun, which would seem extremely odd if she can't participate in combat. And if she can, I doubt she'd only be able to do it alone.

So because of that I went back to inspect the footage, and notice that we even see her fighting alongside the other main character.

We'll see, but I wouldn't judge based on a single trailer.

No worries. We see multiple party members in the trailer.

I was playing Devil's advocate. I know it will have party members.

You played devil's advocate, for a non-existent issue that you brought up?

That's not how it works.

When you want to keep the thread from dying it does.

There's no way you knew that you have other party members when you wrote "Did anybody else feel like some of the scenes did not support multiple party members?"

Why not just say "My bad, I didn't notice" instead of this unbelievable story that you invented a problem with the game, that's clearly shown not to exist in the trailer, for the sake of not letting a 30 minute old thread die....?

Please stop.

Likeing how it looks so far.

It looks really good, I'm excited for this. Hopefully it retains the essence of the series.

Uuumm .. if you remove these 2 post this tread is only at 26 post and it was made 14 hours ago. Its E3 for cryin out lound. Very slow this year. Currently, the thread is just have a bunch users saying shallow comments like, "Wow, looks pretty". Gotta take it beyond that and on VGC that means we need something to debate. Your being logical about the order of sequence. I'm not; It was simply just a comment to get us past the "looks great" post and actually talking about the trailer/game.

The thread was created on 10 June 2019 at 01:50.
On 10 June 2019 at 02:20, you wrote "Did anybody else feel like some of the scenes did not support mutiple party members?"

That is 30 minutes after the thread was created.

You know no one is going to believe that you were trying to save a thread from dying 30 minutes after it was posted.
Nor that you proposed a non-existent issue to discuss, when it contradicts what we see in the trailer, and you could have picked any other subject.

You'd rather people see that you make up these unbelievable stories, than admit that you made a simple mistake?

While I'm personally not bothered by it this time, keep in mind we have rules against arguing for the sake of arguing just to avoid admitting something. It's considered trolling, and it's something we are focusing on more as of late.

If that's a habit of yours then you should rethink that in the future, because it can easily get you in trouble.
And now that you made it clear that you do this type of thing, even when it's completely unbelievable, if someone reports you for something similar in the future and it may be difficult to discern if you're being honest or not, this post here may affect your credibility.
