Just started catching up on Devolver Digital's video presentation. So funny that it's a straight up Nintendo Direct parody.

Don't forget to make your bingoes before the Direct!

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

put me in the engine room shoveling coal lol.

Just enough distracted in there to not get too excited and keep expectations in check.

As long they have more gameplay to show than CGI, it would still be an improvement over what we saw since yesterday.

I just came here to say that

Nintendo has no KEANUUUU so Nintendo has lost this gen!!!!!!!!!!!

:P

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

There were three ravens sat on a tree / They were as blacke as they might be / The one of them said to his mate, Where shall we our breakfast take?

Would be funny now if for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 some actor from the MCU like Samuel L'Jackson or Robert Downey Jr. would show up at the Treehouse to promote the game.

Smash DLC is trending on Twitter for no good reason ...

Man I just wish Nintendo bails on everyone and shows nothing about it for the lols

Sakurai actually already confirmed the next DLC fighter would appear in the Direct at the Smash World Championships.

So, what game will take most of the screen time?

My bet will be on Animal Crossing.

This is the real question.

The fact that they wanted to present Pokemon last week and therefore have two separate Directs (a 17-minute one and a 40-minute one) as opposed to a single hour-long one tells me that they likely have something big that they DON'T want Pokemon to steal the thunder from.

Now, they could still be revealing a Switch hardware redesign, but I don't think that would be what they don't want usurped here.

It's going to be software.

So, the question is - which game(s)?

I expect they will have TWO big software surprises during their Direct - one that is the primary focus (showing a trailer + gameplay), then another one that the presentation ENDS with a teaser for.

I think this could be any variety of games, to include Metroid Prime 4, Paper Mario, a new Zelda, Mario Kart 9, Animal Crossing, etc.
