PS : Pikmin 4 was Hey ! Pikmin all along. Why do people still persist in believing otherwise ...

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-06-14-miyamoto-pikmin-4-still-progressing

One month before Hey! Pikmin came out they said "We can confirm that Pikmin 4 is in development but that is all we can confirm at present." So it wasn't the same game, but it's obviously going through development hell or been cancelled. As back in 2015 Miyamoto said "It's actually very close to completion."

So they weren't the same games, whether Pikmin 4 is still in development at all, or has been restarted from scratch, or the same project is still slowly struggling on? dunno.

Miyamoto got Nintendo to make Pikmin 3 by announcing it himself in 2008. The game wasn't even in preproduction back then, hence why it took so long to come out. Firstly, it had to wait until a development team was free, and secondly, it got turned into a Wii U project eventually which prolonged its development time further.

When Miyamoto talks about Pikmin 4, he's likely trying to pull off the same stunt again. "Hey, guys. I've talked about this game publicly, so now we have to make it."

The difference is that in 2008 Miyamoto was the king of the hill, but in 2015 he had long fallen from grace and was on his way to get shoved into an honorable position of retirement at Nintendo. Pikmin 4 was likely never in development to begin with. Miyamoto's last assignment for game development was to prove the worth of the Gamepad that he had insisted on. Nintendo's business people punished Miyamoto by getting his name tarnished with a mission that was doomed to failure. Star Fox Zero is basically the conclusion to Miyamoto's career as general producer at Nintendo.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

ASTRAL CHAIN LOOKS SO GOOOOOD

Yeah, I'm really liking what I've seen of it so far. The art direction is stunning and the gameplay looks great.

I got a chance to play demos of Link Awakening, Luigi's Mansion 3, and the Marvel game. The Marvel game actual surprised me and I really liked it. It's a really cool co op game and the special abilities are pretty cool. Luigi's Mansion 3 controls really sucked for me and my friends complained about them too. Links Awakening is pretty much what you'd expect. The graphics are really nice too.

How was the framerate in MUA3? in every video of gameplay I see from it and even during the treehouse stream it looks like it drops a lot

I didn't notice any frame drops most of the time. The frames dropped a bit when everyone activated their special bakc to back.

E3 2019 was without a doubt, the best direct from Nintendo, even with the Capcom stuff, the pacing was amazing and it was just great announcement or great trailer of already announced stuff one after another.

A great deal of surprises and a good balance of current year games with next year games.

My highlight was probably how Luigi's Mansion 3 is shaping up to be the perfect game of the franchise.

Also, Sakurai, add Travis to Smash Bros. already, what else does the man and Suda need to do at this point to get his spot.

Imo 2014 was way better. Nintendo E3 2014 is my favorite e3 show.
