You can buy a game and end up not liking it you know, but anyway that's irrelevant. By non-FE enthusiast I mean people who aren't gonna get excited just because it has Fire Emblem in the name, they're the ones you need to try harder to appeal to.

Yeah I know the problem is most of them did like it regardless of what FE fans were saying, those same non-FE enthusiasts are who have been carrying the games since Awakening those are the same people I'm highlighting both Awakening and Fates went down paths that the FE fans were skeptical of and both games appealed to the same said group and did far better the game FE fans did approve of on the other hand barely took off.

Man, Luigi Mansion 3 looks absolutely incredible.

I don't know why you keep talking about Fates and Awakening and acting like FE fans are a hivemind haha, but I'm glad you brought them up. Fate's story is pretty bad (though the concept was promising), and Awakening's was ok but nothing special. Both games sold great, indicating that like most all Nintendo games story isn't a big selling point for Fire Emblem. Thus it boggles the mind that they give us another story focused trailer instead of finally showing off the gameplay.

We got ourselves the official cover art jacket for Daemon x Machina !

Pretty much what'd you expect from a game centered around mechas :3

Anywoo, the trailer showed some clear improvements in performance and mecha speed/maneuverability (like combos and such) which is great cuz it means a better experience by the end ! (also, just being a good listener toward fans)

That cover looks awesome! I've always liked the artstyle of this game. If it winds up being good, it may be the best mech game since Chromehounds.

They are showing Astral Chain now.

I'm so hyped for Breath of the Wild 2 (or whatever it'll be called) even though who knows how far from it release it is and I still haven't even played the first Breath of the Wild

The dark vibe

Astral Chain looks so friggin' amazing

Luigi's Mansion 3 looks really good too and Link's Awakening looks so cute, the dungeon editor seems like an interesting feature.

Nintendo did THAT with this direct.

The direct was def better than last year. Less focus on one game and snippets of what is too come.

My only fear is that most those 3rd party games will use the smallest game cart and then have to download the rest. Hope Nintendo address this as there is so many missed potential sales so far from current releases, Full games on the game media is something that made Nintendo more attractive from the others as an option if you had multiple consoles. Big downloads may as well get the games cheaper on PS4 for those that will be cross platform.

I know about Custom Robot, Armored Core, Zone of the Enders and Gundam but I've never heard of this title before ?

Chromehounds was a multiplayer mech game in the vein of armored core 3. It had the same mech building as AC3, except you could take your mechs online to fight other people in 6 v 6 squads. The game made it so you couldn't talk to your team unless you were within radar range, and you had to capture radar towers to expand your radar range. So a lot of times people would be out doing stuff cutt off from the rest of their team. The moments of radio silence were exhilarating, because you never knew if your out of radar range teammate was ok or getting ambushed by 3 other mechs.

The game was really good, except that 6 v 6 matches would often drop people, so real matches were usually 4 v 4. And once they came out with double-doubles the entire game became broken. But for the first 4 or so months the game was really damned good.

Now I see Kamiya's influence after rewatching the trailer for Astral Chain you can summon more than one legion at a time like the assist morph in W101 and you manage the synergy you carry 3 weapons and I think they said you can have up 5 legions ready to summon at one time.

So, looking back at FE 3H latest trailer and talks on the net.

It seems like the school setting was just a single part of the game acting like a tutorial of some sort before the actual meaty part with politics/wars and such, which is kind of great cuz they got most people fooled all the way through lol.

I.... dont think its a tutorial level. It wouldnt make sense from a dev point of view to build such a massive place, make systems for it, and just abandon after 10 hours.

My guess is: The protagonist(Us) will have either some sort of time travel power, or we will be able to influence the past(Like having flashbacks or something) from the future.
