No I said they submitted a demo.

Ok, so what did they do all those years?Just this demo and Tropical Freeze port?If so, they are incopetent.

If there was a game there and was cancelled, then its what I said.

So where do you stand, because you are confusing me.

They did their project which is possibly being turned into Prime 4 not hard to get you're trying to read between lines MP4's producer said a demo was submitted it's possible it was of their own project to be turned into MP4 instead hence why the new team's efforts got scrapped.

They haven't released a new game in 5 years, there's no question of their incompetence.

Nevermind, I'm not as big a Zelda fan as I thought.

I see no talk at all of the dark crystal game.

That has me intrigued. Hope it is deep, as I love me some strategy games like Fire Emblem and tactics games.

It intrigued me too. It's main problem is it's timing, with Fire Emblem coming out next month...

The Dark Crystal game caught my attention because it looks like they intentionally went out of their way to replicate Muppet facial movement and that's awesome.

No interesting announcements, except for Botw2 of course. Luckily I had my expectations in check, they already announced so much. Link's Awakening, Pokémon and Luigi's Mansion all look very fun. Couldn't care less about any of the third party games though.

What would you have considered interesting announcements?

Something from Nintendo.

Your optimistic, thats for sure.

Ok, lets say that the project they were developing for 4 or 5 years turned into MP4.I mean, they still had to throw much into the trash, since the project were meant to be a different game, and even Nintendo themselves said that MP4 had to basically start from scratch(So not much thing were reused, contrary to your claims).

But assuming you are right, and assuming the game launches in 2021, Retro game would have taken 7 to 8 years to be finsished.Tahts still higly incopetent.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Oh, and I didn't see this mentioned much or maybe I missed it in this thread, but that latest Fire Emblem trailer finally got me truly hyped. I knew they were no doubt playing with the story cards close to the vest, but I wanted to see more of what was going on, what the stakes were. That latest trailer did that for me.

I'm feeling the opposite towards Three Houses. Couldn't really follow what was happening in that trailer, too distracted by how the game still has had no in-depth look at gameplay and it releases next month. I'm guessing it'll get it's own direct in July, but man they're dropping the ball on marketing this game I think.

I feel the opposite, the core of the game is familiar to people largely.  Three Houses desperately needed some kind of story driven hype.  Prior to this it was mostly just setting.

But if you want gameplay details there's a lot of info out there, actually.  I do think a mini direct for it might be in the cards.  Also, it is apparently going to be in the Treehouse later.
