Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Official Nintendo E3 2019 Thread!

Bruh this was the best direct of all time - and the BEST E3 CONFERENCE EVER. I loved Sony's E3 2015 and E3 2016. I loved Microsoft's E3 2018. But most of the content in this direct was both exclusive, AND releasing in about 10 months. That's insane!

Would I have liked a Bayonetta 3 trailer? Sure, but pretty much almost every game in this direct was interesting at the very least with many of them being amazing. 10/10

The BOTW sequel have me so excited! Hopefully Nintendo making a direct sequel means we won't have to wait for it for too long.

Ni no Kuni Japanese box art looks pretty good

(=^・ω・^=) Kuroneko S2 - Ore no Imouto - SteamMyAnimeList and Twitter - PSN: Gustavo_Valim - Switch FC: 6390-8693-0129 (=^・ω・^=)

Zelda sequel in the same vein of Majora's Mask, and they've got a cutscene ready to show.

I'm a bit worried about the game forcing players to explore the exact same game as BOTW. Maybe that dead guy under Hyrule castle sends them to something like the Dark World or Lorule.

"The sequel is now in development" Gee thanks, we knew that. xD

It's something though!

The key takeaway is that it's using the BotW engine so it's going to have a short development cycle compared to the average mainline Zelda game.  I wouldn't be surprised if it's Nintendo's big 2020 holiday title.

Well they made Majora's Mask in a blistering year and a half. BotW 2 would have 3 years of development time if they started it December 2017 after the last DLC pack for BotW, and finished it December 2020.

So yeah, totally doable.

Yeahm the RE part was lame.Honestly, with the "budget" the trailer had, I was expecting something close to a RE 7 or RE 2 remake announcement.

But yeah, it was a very good presentation. Not the best one, but great nonetheless.

And man, there are so many stuff left to see.Bayo 3, SMT 5, Monolith new project, etc.

Nintendo has surely alot up their sleeves.

2020 is looking better than I though. With any luck we should have Bayo 3, BotW2, Animal Crossing, Yokai Watch 4 coming west, and NMH3.

Ok... so best direct ever!?!??! Switch is the rpg king! Banjo in smash! Zelda revealed (4 years too early?) Dark crystal game! No more heroes 3! A ton of critically acclaimed (and tbh very welcome) ports/remasters/remakes! Animal crossing looks interesting again and is being polished. Fire emblem looks amazing. Astral chain keeps exceding my expectations. And Luigis mansion 3 looks sooo good!!! After all these years making me lower my expectations each e3, nintendo fucking nailed it. No mp4 or bayo news but I dont minnd a bit at the moment!

Nah, BOTW 2 is more complete than people think in my opinion.

Remember: BOTW is already 2.5 years old(give or take) and this game is using the same engine, probably using alot of the same assets for monsters and such, and the map will be reused in some fashion.

I can see this releasing mid 2020

And yeah, this conference confirms that Pokemon will be the big holiday title.
