I will buy Soulja transgender console 0 0%

I will eat Soulja Boy console with tabasco 3 60.00%

I much rather see the results, after both Sony and MS show off their next systems. The hype for the Nextbox will obviously grow after e3 but that won't tell us anything until we won't see Sony's box as well.

Thus far this poll honestly reflects the overall feeling that dominated this generation, when it comes to Sony's lead. The install base is on their side, and I doubt that anyone went away disappointed after buying into the system.

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

We'll see what happens, can't shake this feeling Sony is going to screw up somehow

No shit Sherlock =]

The system have a legacy and a lot of followers.

Mmmmm, in research internet polls are like the least efficient way to get reliable information from people. I wouldn't take much from it when people here have already made a sound reasoning as to why the chart looks like that.

Yes, lets use the sales of the systems as basis. PS4 selling at over 2x the amount of X1 seems to align well with the survey.

Same for me. This is all based on assumptions and not actual peoples decisions.

Like from the Wii to WiiU and PS2 to the PS3 and from the 360 to the XB1. I am sure Wii, PS2 and 360 owners voted they wanted the next system upgrade and most of those peoples minds changed in a heart beat after announcements.

Best thing to do with these type of votes or to atleast take them seriously is after we know what a Switch 2, XB2 or PS5 is first than do a vote.

Other than that, these votes are entirely pointless.

Yupp... its a nice clickbait article that brings in views for the site that makes the poll. Hell, even after a generation starts many things can change and we have seen mid-gen games and functionalities boost or decrease interest in certain systems.

Sony is coming off a strong generation, that is only to be expected. Doesn't neccessarily mean they will win next-gen though, just look at what happened to PS3.

apples to oranges. both situations are not the same.

But yeah, it could go wrong

Sony could hire Don Mattrick as head PR.

Only half?

The poll question might as well have been who the IGN readership's favorite console manufacturer is. The results would hardly change.

Was thinking the same thing.  IGN has been dominated by Sony fans since PS1 days to my knowledge.

As have been the sales of consoles.
