Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sony=Apple?

Claim to do incredible things but lack any major change basis and get praised by their cult following anyway?

While the competition actually innovates...

The ps4 was a ps3.5

The ps5 will be a ps4 pro2

Just like the iphone 9 is the 8.5

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Apple phones and other products are actually prett incredible.
Also some of the things Sony first party studios have been able to do this gen it comes to graphics are pretty incredible.

I don't think Sony has nearly as strong of a brand as Apple, maybe because of the variety of products they make. Nintendo would be more comparable in that regard. But yeah, I think you could say that both Sony and Apple kinda act like they're the most “intellectually superior” and mature brand.

B O I

Apple is quite a succes thats the only thing im in doubt about

No. Sony don't release ridiculously overpriced products...

$600 PS3 at launch begs to differ.

Though that was less a matter of being "overpriced" for what was offered, and more a matter of using hardware that forced too high a price-point for the market to accept.

Comparisons of almost any company to Apple are absurd, especially in light of the latest news - the $5000 6k monitor with no stand included (sold separately for $1000).

OP has never used an apple product confirmed.

I've loved Sony products since the Walkman.

The first game I've ever made was on an Apple IIe. It was a complete HyperCard game; rated M for excessively mature and way too violent.

Based on which statement?

Seeing as i used to own an iphone up untill nr. 6 with which i was quite pleased, havent touched a mac since yosemite *which is, damn also almost 3 years back*, you might have point for the most recent products but cant say i see any big improvements

The PS3 would have cost about $1,500 for Apple. They don't like to lose money on their products.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
