Forums - Gaming Discussion - Microsoft announces Xbox Game Pass for PC

"Xbox Game Pass is headed to PC, with support from top publishers like Bethesda, Sega, Devolver, Paradox and Deep Silver.

As with the Xbox One version of Xbox Game Pass (the two are named the same, but will remain separate), all Microsoft exclusives will launch day and date into the program on their global release.

There will also be a library of 100+ games to dip into. (On Xbox One, this figure is now well over 200.) There's no word yet on pricing or specific games, but Microsoft says it's working with 75 PC developers and publishers, including the big names listed above...."

MS also mentions in the article about having their games available on multiple store fronts like; Steam, Epic, and Windows store.

It's about time. So Xbox itself will become more of an ecosystem than just a console, smart move.

Good. More options are always good.

Wouldn't mind seeing Forza (not horizon) on Steam. Main game they have on Steam is Halo Wars to my knowledge. They could put Halos up too. I refuse to buy off MS store so only way for them to make money from me is putting more games on Steam.

Announced some time ago that they would put up MCC, now also Gears/Forza etc...including new releases.

Nice I'll keep my eye on the Steam store for Forza.  I'll prob pick up Halo Wars on summer sale.  Not too big into the franchise but heard it was decent rts and I haven't messed around with rts lately since being heavy into tbs.

For me it was already launched together with X1 version, just discovered it wasn't when I was looking for a friend that wanted to sub.

More sales coming to the service.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Thee is also Gears 5 to look forward to on Steam as well:

I'd like to see more of this from MS going forward, as well as a complete store and refund system revamp.

Also mod support would be nice as well, since Steam remains the only client storefront, that actively supports modding.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

As long as the Windows Store is not involved and I can play the games on my current Windows operating system (Windows 7) I'll definitely be checking this out.
