I'm going to assume there's some underlying drama I'm not aware of from something that happened here between these two in the past. Maybe Snake felt slighted somehow. IDK.....Or the thing you said.

We also have DKC 3 love in common! I think it's underrated as an entry in the original trilogy. Yeah okay, I didn't think the soundtrack was as magical as that of the first two games overall, but the stages are masterfully designed and I love the comparative interactivity of the overworld/map. It's kinda DKC 2, 3, and 1 for me, in that order of love.
