Rayman Composer Remi Gazel Has Died

Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rayman Composer Remi Gazel Has Died

Rémi Gazel, the composer for the original Rayman game, has passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.

His wife shared this information on social media and said the funeral would take place at the end of this month.

Gazel was described on his website as a "self-taught musician" who was "passionate about digital technologies and the endless opportunities" they could offer. He was "ever-evolving" as an artist and his own "personal journey" allowed him to experiment in multiple creative fields ranging from music, digital art, video making to web design.

This is just horrible. He wasn't even that old. :(

Played the original Rayman back in the 90's. I didn't even know of him until today, but he was a part of our world of games. Salut, Mr Gazel.
