Apparently the screenplay is being written by Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island, Alita: Battle Angel)

Do you like the idea of a KOTOR movie?

I’m interested. KotOR is my #2 favorite game of all time and it’s story is better than that of most Star Wars movies. I’d still rather have KotOR3 though.

Hopefully it won't be cucked by SJW cancer. Disney own the franchise though so you know it will be.

No, Disney's canon would not allow it. And even if it did, considering how controversial the Disney Star Wars Universe is most of the time, do you people want it anywhere near KotoR? Bonus points for also being a videogame movie.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I was going to post something positive, then I remembered it's Disney and the KK crew running the show. I still think about microwaving my copy of The Last Jedi,

Rogue One has one of KotOR battleships in a scene so in my book it’s all but canon already.

Is the Knights of the Old Republic comics still canon? You know, where it all came from even if it just looked like modern Star Wars.

Hmm, pie.

I did a search and found that part of KOTOR has been canonized. If this movie is confirmed then I expect that this adaptation and it's content which will be hypothetically shared with the original game will turn those specific things into canon. Similar to how General Thrawn was turned into canon.
